Cadence Self Breathing System Hardware

 1.

 Medical Stand. (P/N 1024907)
The Medical Stand is used for attaching and securing components which include the Airway Pressure Monitor (2), Low Flow Air/O2 Blender (3) and Humidifier. The stand base is supported by six 3-inch full motion casters. The stand has a telescoping post with two detachable hooks. Separately, each section of the center post is 50 inches in length with a combined extendable length of 96 inches. The detachable hooks add 2 inches to the height of the center post.

Airway Pressure Monitor (P/N 8-100324-00) The Criterion 40 Airway Pressure Monitor with available alarms allows the clinician to monitor airway pressure at the Cadence Catheter luer port through a pressure line. Airway Pressure Monitor attaches to Medical Stand (1) via a pole mount. For details regarding the Remote Alarm features of Criterion 40 refer to Criterion 40 Pressure Monitor User’s Manual.

 3.

Air/O2 Blender (P/N 1024936) The Air/O2 Blender allows the clinician to manually adjust the FIO2 from 21-77% with a dial on the front of the unit. The blender attaches to the Medical Stand (1) via a pole mount (provided but not shown in diagram).

Heated Wire Electrical Adaptor (P/N 1024934) The Heater Wire adaptor is a part of the automatic regulation of humidification and heating of gas flowing through the disposable
heated wire circuit. Heated Wire Adaptor (5) attaches to the Humidifier (7) via a color-coded plug.

 5.

Temperature Probe (P/N 1025039) The Temperature Probe is a part of the automatic regulation of humidification and heating of gas flowing through the disposable heated wire circuit. Temperature Probe Adaptor attaches to the Humidifier (7) via a color-coded plug.

 6.

Oxygen High Pressure Hose (P/N 1024915) High Pressure Hose for connection from Oxygen Piped Wall Source to Air/O2 Blender.

 7.

Precision Medical Easy Air Compressor (P/N 1024944) Provides medical grade air when piped wall air is not available.

 8.

Tie Down Straps Tie down straps have been included to assist in managing power cords
from the different components.

 9.

Air High Pressure Hose (P/N 1024917) High Pressure Hose for connection from Air Source to Air/O2 Blender.

10.

Humidifier (P/N 1024908) The Humidifier allows for humidification and heating of the inspired gas. Humidifier attaches to the Medical Stand (1) via a mounting bracket (provided but not shown).

11.

Accessory Arm A 6-inch stainless steel arm mounted to the medical stand, pointing upward at a 120° angle acts as a hook for hanging hoses, power cords and tubing.

12.

Flowmeter (P/N 1024935) The Flowmeter allows the clinician to manually adjust the flow rate in the range of 0 to 15 L/min (6 to 15 L/min for Cadence Self-Breathing
